1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TripHero (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including trip organizers, leaders, parents, and students.

2. Description of Service

TripHero is a platform for managing educational trips. It provides tools for student enrollment, activity scheduling, attendance tracking, accommodation management, location safety, communication, and reporting. The Service is provided on a subscription or access basis to organizations (schools, educational centers, trip operators).

3. User Accounts

Organizations are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Each user must provide accurate information and must not share their account with others. Enrollment codes are single-use credentials for mobile app access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TripHero only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: misuse student data for unauthorized purposes; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or data; upload harmful content or malicious code; use the Service to harass, harm, or discriminate against any person.

5. Student and Minor Data

TripHero processes data relating to students, including minors. Organizations using TripHero are responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consent required by applicable law before enrolling students and collecting their data. TripHero processes this data only as a processor on behalf of the organization.

6. Location Tracking

The TripHero mobile app may collect student location data during active trips for safety and attendance purposes. Students and parents must be informed of this tracking. Location data is only accessible to authorized leaders and organizers within the organization. Organizations are responsible for complying with applicable laws regarding location tracking of minors.

7. AI-Generated Content

TripHero uses AI technology to generate reports and summaries. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may not be fully accurate. Organizations are responsible for reviewing AI-generated reports before sharing them with parents or students. AI reports use data you have entered into the platform and are generated on our servers — no data is shared with AI providers beyond what is required to generate the content.

8. Intellectual Property

TripHero and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TripHero and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your organization retains ownership of data you enter into the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TripHero is provided "as is" during its beta period. We make no warranties about the availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service. TripHero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Beta Service Notice

TripHero is currently in beta testing. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service during the beta period.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice in the platform or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
