How do students log in to the mobile app?
Students use their Trip Code (provided by the school) and a personal Enrollment Code. They enter both in the TripHero mobile app to join their trip.
How do parents view their child's progress?
Parents log in to the TripHero mobile app using their enrollment code. They can view their child's attendance, points, and any reports shared by the trip leader.
Can parents see other students' information?
No. Parents can only see data for their own linked child. This is enforced at the database level.
Why does the app request location permission?
TripHero uses location to mark attendance at activities and help trip leaders keep students safe. Location is only collected during active trips and is only visible to authorized trip leaders.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email privacy@triphero.com with your request. We will process it within 30 days.
I'm a trip organizer. How do I get started?
Contact us at hello@triphero.com to set up your organization account. We'll guide you through the setup process.
The mobile app is not updating. What should I do?
TripHero supports over-the-air updates. Close the app fully and reopen it to receive the latest update. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login page, use the 'Forgot password' link to receive a reset email. For mobile app users using enrollment codes, contact your trip organizer for a new code.
🗑️ Request Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from TripHero. To do so, send an email to privacy@triphero.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your name and email address. We will confirm receipt and process your request within 30 days.
Note: Deleting your account will remove your personal profile. Trip data (attendance records, points, etc.) may be retained in anonymized form as part of the organization's trip history.
